Suz (suzippity) For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway

For Whom the Bell Tolls (this one just came to me!)

twine child bother head town heart
Clues: It could be YA or possibly contemporary classic, if that is a thing. If not, it should be. British author. One book of a series.

message 41: by Suz (last edited Jul 24, 2014 08:34AM) (new)

Suz (suzippity) Another Clue for: twine child bother head town heart
talking animals
It was published in 1950 and is very well known. It is said to be a children's book, but it's more sophisticated than say, Harold and the Purple Crayon, which is why I thought it might be YA, even though YA was likely not coined at that time.
