Barb (barblibrarian1) Hi all. This is going to be my goal this year. I am going to have to start varying my reading a little more. I am just too stuck on my P&P obsession. So, my goal will be to cut back on the JAFF while still allowing myself the enjoyment.

message 7: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) Hi, Barb! You can always read some JAFF based on the other novels as a way to ease yourself out of your obsession. Think of it as reading methadone! ;-)

Kirk (goodreadscomkirkc) | 789 comments Puts the bike aside...Col and Marianne Brandon(she can be at two places at once...her own level and here!)....so great to see you both! I fear my duration here will be of a long one. But such delightful surroundings and I'm so looking forward to meet the family members I've heard so much about.

What if, after Elizabeth's very clear answer to his disastrous proposal, Darcy does not flee the premises but stays and berates himself and his substandard social skills? They might come to an earlier understanding... This was originally meant to be humorous, but turned out quite plausible, I think. Not to be taken too seriously. Oneshot. Now spelling and punctuation corrected.

Thx!!! I need to get out and ride but...spring has not been in the air in Boston! Blizzard last Tuesday/Weds...cold air...March Lionness! (the guess for April is warmer than ave...here's hoping!!!!) Abigail Bok (regency_reader) It was a lovely trip, thank you! Everyone was so kind and enthusiastic, and people were remarkably helpful. The archivist at the Dorking Museum even gave up an entire day to take me to the Surrey History Centre and help me through their processes, then drive me around to various places where characters live, showing me all about where the old roads ran, and so on, along the way. And I got to do lots of reading; a slew of reviews to appear shortly. Nice break!
