I'm afraid I'm only 25% in but that means nothing - I could be finished by tomorrow! I am enjoying it so far - interesting characters, like the little references to 20th century entertainment. The whole concept of Letters is deliciously disturbing. What made you think of that, A.J.?

Thanks, Matthew! Glad you're enjoying it. Slade and Hotaru were fun to write, and I found that they evolved and took on distinctly different personalities than those that I created them with.
As for the world, I tried to create a world where the Emissaries had anything - and everything - they could want, while the general population was more "normal" - albeit just above the poverty line. This dichotomy is explored more in Book Two.
Looking forward to your questions!

Just getting started, enjoying it so far.
our Sci-fi pick for July/August is Death's Twilight by A J Leavens. I'm hoping he will pop in to talk about the book and answer questions. Otherwise this is the ongoing discussion thread for while you are reading so no spoilers here please. Looking forward to this one!
Happy reading :)
