Joy | 1116 comments In 2017 I managed to clear 70 books off my TBR shelves. In 2018 I’m gonna shoot for 75. The real challenge will be to read more than I buy... which I did ok at in 2017. I think I only bought 60 or so... ok so I could have done better, but small steps... 😀

Love this one!

Joy | 1116 comments I had a hard time getting into it, during the first half, but started to enjoy it the second half. I don’t know why but I hardly like overhyped books!! I always expect so much more, then get let down. I have 2 more of his on my shelves, so hopefully I’ll like them more. I gave it a 4 Star.

I've read and enjoyed all of his books! My favorite is My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, which happened to be the first one I read by him.

Joy | 1116 comments I have that one! Hopefully I like it more than AMCO. Fingers crossed. 🙂

Oh gosh. I can't even...nope. I've gotten 2 shipments from Book Outlet and gone to 1 library sale this year. No contest I'm still buying more than reading what I already have. lol

LOL...I have to pare it down a bit, my husband retires next year so we'll be moving to a much smaller home, so I can't lug all these books with me....well I could try, but I think it'll be a losing battle! LOL

I had to do that when we moved last time, we were in between houses for a month so I went through all of my books and got rid of everything I could get on Overdrive. I wish I'd just packed them all because Overdrive does rotations and gets rid of books on their site. :( So I've lost a few. Makes me sad. lol. Now that I finally have a place to put them all! My dream library!

Right?! They're e-books! No space needed!! Maybe the rights expire, I don't know. I just know that just because it's on Overdrive today doesn't mean it will be there tomorrow.

I picked up Pet Sematary a book sale last year! Filling out my Stephen King used book collection. lol. I've never bought a brand new King book! Well, besides on audio, I guess. lol.

I'm just starting Y is for Yesterday, the final Kinsey book! :(

Joy | 1116 comments Awww! So sad!! 😞 I can’t believe we won’t get the last book in the series. May she Rest In Peace. She’s given me a lot of hours of fun reading her books. And as I’m only about halfway through the alphabet I have many more to go.

Pet Sematary was ok... not my favorite by him by far, but still enjoyable.

Yes, so sad! It sucks that we won't get to see a great ending for Kinsey. But I applaud her decision to not have Z be ghostwritten. It just wouldn't be the same, especially since it would've been the finale of 35+ years of work.

Yeah, I had to stop getting physical library books. And it's easy enough to suspend a hold on Overdrive until I'm ready to read it. So I've just got 10 e-book holds. Only 3 or 4 of them are "ready" but I keep suspending. lol
