Question for the Book Riot challenge powers-that-be---For the 2018 challenge...4, 8, 18...Are we strictly looking for comics or was that meant to be interchangeable with graphic novels too?

That's an excellent question. I think I'm going to interpret it as including graphic novels bc I'm 100% uninterested in comics

I feel like this was discussed for 2017 topics and concluded that if the prompt said comic that both comics and graphic novels count, but if it said graphic novels, comics don’t count.

I’m not excited about 3 comic categories:(. I just don’t enjoy them.

Chessa (chessakat) | 32 comments I asked the question re: comics/graphic novels and was told that Book Riot considers all sequential art to count as “comics”! So go ahead with all those graphic novels. :)
