The "sort by name" should be all lower case, as it is now. The shelf display name should be capitalized, because that is how it is displayed on people's bookshelves.

Also, I am wondering why you only added "iamblichus" to those shelves, without the "of Chalcis"?

I've flagged this author profile for GR Support, as there is something strange going on. With every change, the day he died changes to one day earlier.

I did notice one of the date changes, but I did not look closely enough to see it was not just a correction.

#7+8: The English spelled author name should be the primary author on all editions. When the Russian name is on the cover, the Russian author name should be added as secondary author. This was already done for all but one book on each profile. For this book, that is the Lithuanian spelled author name, which was already so for all books.

If there are Russian books missing the Russian version of the author name, please start a new thread in the folder Book Issues, and add links to the Russian editions that needs to be edited, and ask to have the Russian author name added.

Books only published in Lithuanian will not have the Russian name added, as the Lithuanian profile is the primary author profile for this author.

Hello, where do you go to request an author page merge? I found duplicate author pages.

There are two profiles for the same author:
Elif Shafak and إليف شافاق.
She is a goodreads author and hence I could not merge her pages. What should I do?

Author profiles in different languages/spelling/alphabets should never be merged.
