Type: Children's Book

Published: Before 1974, probably much older than that.

Plot: A selfish old car (Model T?) runs over anything that gets in its way until it hits a train.

Details:
I am looking for a children's book about a selfish automobile- looked like a Model T - or some old automobile - illustrated in the style of P D Eastman (but, I cannot find any P D Eastman books like it). It may not have been a Model T - I was only 4 - 5 years old at the time.

It would have to have been published before 1974.

But, I presume it was published well before then as the subject was this mean old car.

The Model T was a selfish automobile and would try to run over anything that got in its path if that thing did not get out of its way.

I remember it tried to run over chickens (or ducks) and then some larger animals and possibly people - leaving messes and destruction in its path.

Finally, the car decided it wasn't going let a train get across its path and sped up to beat the train, but obviously, it didn't win, the train did.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
