Liralen | 168 comments This may have been mentioned in this group before (I know I remember reading about the project somewhere), but some of you may be interested in this woman's journey: http://www.test.bbc.com/culture/story...

She set out to read a book from every country -- here's her list: http://ayearofreadingtheworld.com/the...

Sounds challenging and, oh my gosh, fun. Makes me wonder what my reading goal should be for 2015.

Valerie There's a group on Goodreads that's doing this. It's called Around the World in 80 Books. I joined the group about a year ago. It's a lot of fun and there are constant suggestions for books by authors of different countries.

I too am doing the ATW challenge.
It is definitely a place if you are interested in doing a reading challenge involving countries - lots of different forms of challenges.

Christine (inhalesbookslikepopcorn) I am part of the ATW group too.

the links are interesting, thanks for posting Liralen, I hadn't heard of her blog before.

*off to check it out now*

Nea (neareads) | 6 comments I am also a part of the ATW group and I love reading my way around the world each year. My favorite genre is cultural fiction, as I love exploring what is foreign to me, so it's fitting that ATW is my favorite Goodreads group.

Valerie It's it great? This group and ATW also dovetail nicely - lots of book ideas.

Liralen | 168 comments I joined ATW (thanks!), and though I haven't had time to read through discussions yet, I'm thrilled with the bookshelves there.
