The H and h are already married. He is a lawyer or something and fakes his death in car accident to protect the h. The h’s sister is involved somehow. After a period of time, the H comes back and they reconcile. It was on kindle unlimited. I read it months ago but don’t know if it was relatively new or not.

Sounds kind of like Waiting for the One by L.A. Fiore. If not it is very similar to the synopsis of the book you are looking for.
