Cherry Davis | 3 comments It's on my 'list of books' to read so am hoping I win a copy and if not will buy myself.

David (dassaf4) | 21 comments Math, mysteries, and medusae, oh my!

This was my first Okorafor, and my first Afrofuturist novella. It definitely won't be my last.

It's a month late, but here's my review.

This is great, David! Do you have any specific Afrofuturist works that you're looking at next?

David (dassaf4) | 21 comments Thanks! First up is to finish the Binti trilogy. I have a few by Octavia Butler on my TBR: Wild Seed, and the Xenogenesis trilogy. There's also N.K. Jemisin's The Fifth Season, for more of a fantasy-flavored Afrofuturism. Then perhaps back to Okorafor with Who Fears Death. I'm open to other recs!

Hydy | 5 comments I loved Binti and Home! Can hardly wait for the audio of the third, Night Masquerade. A great female lead, strong and steeped in her culture as well as rebelling from Traditional roles. wonderful story.

Hydy | 5 comments And just found Night Masquerade on Hoopla!!!
