READATHONS discussion

Hi everyone! We’re so excited to be hosting our 2nd readathon!
We hope you’re all as excited as well.
For this thread, we all want to know what books you’re planning on reading during the readathon! Personally, I have no idea yet. I’m still thinking about it.

Can’t wait to see what you’ve all got planned!!

I’m planning to finish Lady Midnight (i have around 300 pages left) and then finally pick up Every Heart a Doorway

I have two very important job interviews tomorrow, but I'll try to get started as soon I can afterwards! I'm planning on reading "Strange the Dreamer" and, if there's time left, get started on "And I Darken".

I started The Raven Boys yesterday and I'll aim to finish it :)

I hope to finish !!! So i continue with I really wish there was an audio book for Fire Falling!!!!

I'm going to be trying to clear our my cr shelf before i start anything new. i'm about halfway through The City of Brass and a quarter through Roar

if i manage to finish those both, i'll probably pick up The Color Project

i'm planning on finishing The City of Brass and starting Girls Made of Snow and Glass!

I'll just continue reading The Cruel Prince, I don't want it to end, okay?! But sadly I know it will and when it does, I'll maybe read Beneath the Sugar Sky or A Gathering of Shadows, not yet decided

Pages read: 50 pages of A Gathering of Shadows & 5 hours of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I don’t think I’ll end up finishing any books, but I want to read as much as possible of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and listen to as much of The Hate U Give as I can since I just recently started that audiobook.

So since I already have 2 books on my CR (Dark Lover and Hunting Prince Dracula), I will try to finish them both tomorrow because I want to clear out my CR shelf before I start anything new!

Sooo City of Brass was originally planned to be the last book between me and the King's Men by Nora Sakavic, which I wanted to start later in the week. Now Im debating putting off for a later date. I'm guessing it takes a lot of time and isn't something you can fly through?

Yeah pretty much. It's just really dense. I switched to audiobooking which usually helps me power through slow books and even that is rough for me. Sad. I had such high hopes for this book. Ya never know though, you might love it. :p

I have to say tho i managed to read all the kings men in one day so that might be a better choice for a readathon. Good luck!

lol Amy, I've been hyping this up in my mind for months, because of a certain relationship and this series has just gone too quickly. It's becoming a favorite but i don't want it to be over. So maybe next week for my birthday

it’s so incredibly gay it’s truly amazing!! but yes, you should really savor the experience. hope you enjoy it when you get to it :-)
