The debut of Sherlock Holmes! The book was clever and engaging, and covered both the case and the backstory set in Utah. Seeing the crime from the perpetrator’s perspective can be revealing and provide interesting perspective. Similar to Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle is at the tops of the detective story genre and a must read. I’m looking forward to working through the canon.
