My barn jacket that are all fleece with big outside pockets and three big buttons. Also my robes!

We have tickets to a play in the afternoon, but should make it home in time for kick-off. My husband will watch ... I'll be watching PBS.

I think my youngest niece was about 3 ... she's 17 now. It was Christmas Day in the afternoon and the whole family went bowling for fun. We had a blast!

Once ... hubby switched cars with me at the last minute and I was running late.

Closest I came to a ticket was on my wedding. My best friend was driving my car, I was in the passenger seat, headed to get our hair done. I told her to slow it, she didn't, and sure enough we were pulled over. But it turns out, a cop doesn't want to give a ticket to a woman crying, hours before her wedding.

We almost always have a bouquet of fresh flowers on the side table in our kitchen dining area. Sometimes we have a few blooms in the upstairs office, or in the master bedroom.

We exchange cards and Hubby usually gives me flowers ... this morning I awoke to a lovely display on my computer desk - a pot of red tulips in bloom! They'll last a little longer than cut flowers, I think ... and perhaps I can plant the bulbs in the garden come fall (of course they'll just be deer food next spring...)

Yes ... especially the younger generations. I see couples in restaurants and they're not even talking ... they each are consumed by whatever is on their phone.

We have fruit for dessert almost every day, and I usually also start my day with a banana. When I was working I also usually had another piece of fruit for a snack during the day ... a habit I've kind of gotten out of in retirement. I grew up in South Texas and we just about lived on fruit for much of the year.
