I love my hoodie that my sisters call "inappropriate." I got it at a book conference. It says Cave Slave and has handcuffs on it. It is so warm.
Probably my black jeans. I have three pair and I like that I can dress them up with a nicer top, or dress down with a sweatshirt.
Saturday, Feb 3 - Any plans for the Super Bowl tomorrow?
We have tickets to a play in the afternoon, but should make it home in time for kick-off. My husband will watch ... I'll be watching PBS.

I have a grey sweatshirt that says Cancun on it. People are always asking me if I went to Cancun. Nope! Went to a garage sale!

Nope! Now if the Vikings had won...

No. TCM is running 31 Days of Oscar and Hallmark has a new movie. I'll see which one I like best.

No, just sitting around the house playing on my computer and reading. I'm not a big fan of football.

Yes, I am having a party for people who don't watch the super bowl, mostly guys showed up!

I think my youngest niece was about 3 ... she's 17 now. It was Christmas Day in the afternoon and the whole family went bowling for fun. We had a blast!

Yes, I love the Olympics, especially the winter ones.

My sister's retirement party about 3 years ago.

A few things like ice skating and dancing, gymnastics, and especially the bobsledding because I love the movie "Cool Runnings"!

I don't have cable at home, but I will definitely watch while at work.

Some days yes but mostly no. I'll go onto e-mails about 4-5 times a day to clean out e-mails and play games at those times then I'm off. I've been reading more and watching TV and cooking and remodeling and painting classes. I love being under the blankets because it has been so cold.

Definitely will be glued to the TV over the next two weeks. Probably won't spend much time on line as a result.

Last summer when I took a kid I was doing PCA work for. Hadnt done it in at least 20 years. I was horrible.

Will probably watch the figure skating, otherwise it will be if there is nothing else interesting to watch.

No. Have had two warnings, though.

Once ... hubby switched cars with me at the last minute and I was running late.

Not a speeding ticket. I got a ticket for passing on the right. The car was trying to take a left and the traffic was horrible. No one was letting him turn and I needed to get to work.

Closest I came to a ticket was on my wedding. My best friend was driving my car, I was in the passenger seat, headed to get our hair done. I told her to slow it, she didn't, and sure enough we were pulled over. But it turns out, a cop doesn't want to give a ticket to a woman crying, hours before her wedding.

Monday, Feb 12 .... Do you have fresh flowers in your home?
We almost always have a bouquet of fresh flowers on the side table in our kitchen dining area. Sometimes we have a few blooms in the upstairs office, or in the master bedroom.

Occasionally but not usually.

Not this time of year, although my Christmas cactus is blooming, so maybe that counts.

Cant pick just one. Robin Williams, George Carlin, Trevor Noah.

Sometimes, but not often. My cats like to knock them over.

We exchange cards and Hubby usually gives me flowers ... this morning I awoke to a lovely display on my computer desk - a pot of red tulips in bloom! They'll last a little longer than cut flowers, I think ... and perhaps I can plant the bulbs in the garden come fall (of course they'll just be deer food next spring...)

I usually buy my girls something, but my husband is usually out of town during Valentine's, so I don't get anything.

For many years we didn't do anything for Valentines Day. My #2 son is 39 today and years ago it was hard enough to have money for birthday presents so we didn't celebrate Valentines Day. Today we will go out for supper and then stop and see him when he gets home from work. We usually buy each other a small gift and a mushy card!

I think with the younger generation it's because that's all they know.

Yes, I do. I've been trying to break the habit (TV, tablet, computer, phone apps) and read more which I have done but I still have a way to go.

I like the old ones--Red Skelton, George Carlin, Stiller and Meara, Tootie Fields. Today's humor is often too vulgar for me and I am not a prude. I just don't find it funny.

Yes ... especially the younger generations. I see couples in restaurants and they're not even talking ... they each are consumed by whatever is on their phone.

Mon, Feb 19 - Do you eat fruit every day?
We have fruit for dessert almost every day, and I usually also start my day with a banana. When I was working I also usually had another piece of fruit for a snack during the day ... a habit I've kind of gotten out of in retirement. I grew up in South Texas and we just about lived on fruit for much of the year.

No. I usually have orange juice or pineapple juice every day but I'm bad when it comes to fruits and vegetables.

I'm more of a veggie person, but we keep plenty of fruit around for the three year old.
