YA Book Club! discussion

I liked this series at first, and read the entire series, but when I reread them, I didn't like it.

I haven't seen the movie either... I wonder if it's better than the book

To all twilight fans do not see the spoiler

(view spoiler)[ I think Edward Cullen is a SPARKLY FAIRY PRINCESS. I think Jacob needs a girlfriend and stop obsessing over Bella. I'm like 'Dude she's taken get over it'. I think Bella is extremely whiny. I mean moping about her ex boyfriend for how many months is just 'GOD KILL ME NOW, YOU CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING IN LIFE AND AGAIN, GET OVER IT!'

Don't even get me started on the films. Most of the time Bella has her mouth open. I mean would it kill the director To tell the actress to shut her mouth every once in a while? Plus Edward Cullen may have a pretty face but to me he is just creeeeeeeeeeepy. Oh and the 'love' scenes. I think they went way, waaaaaay too far with those. They age they gave was 12/13 with an adult but in my opinion I think that was a totally inappropriate set age. If any twilight fans are reading this I warned you. I did not like twilight. End of. I liked the first three books but I didn't really like the last one, Breaking Dawn. There were some parts that were annoying, (view spoiler)[like jacob imprinting on Renesme. I found that weird. (hide spoiler)]

I'm one to trash books. But twilight was just... *facepalms*
The Host wasn't so bad. But the movie was such a disappointment

After I read the Twilight series, I didn't want to read Stephanie Meyer's other books. Maybe I should give them another shot?

I think that it was written like that so he could have an happy ending too.
