Me... glad to be back to Miles, instead of Mark...

After the rocky start, I can almost see Miles maturing on the page... learning to be a Vorkosigan, instead of a Naismith, and settling into Vor society...

I'm around 66% now, I think...

RuinEleint Started, 5 chapters and all of it coming back to me. I really like this book.

RuinEleint 9 chapters. Poor poor Galeni.

I really like this phase of Miles' life. The space adventures are awesome but I have always found the way he tries to make a place for himself in Barrayan society fascinating.

Yes! I loved the space adventures when I read them and continue to do so, but the Barrayar books are the one I keep re-reading.

I finished this & the Miles in Love omnibus over my two week vacation at the end of October. Absolutely enjoyed it.

I feel the same way! The Naismith books are A LOT of fun - but I just love the more philosophical, contemplative and the exploration-of-self-identity strains in these books more - Mirror Dance also did a fair bit of that I feel.
