Can anyone tell me how the schedule translates into the audiobook? I believe the audio has six parts. Thanks.

It will be roughly 1.5 parts per week. The first week is easy, just stop when you hit part 2, which I imagine they'll say.
Week 2 ends with an article from the Oregon Post called "Murder in Alaska," and with the words "where that will stand trial for the murder." Week 3 starts with some weather measurements so it should seem like starkly different sections.
Section 3 ends with a letter from Walt and Section 4 starts with a quote from a travel journal, "It became very quiet in the house."
I interested to hear how this works in audio, Casey, since this appears to be an artifact novel. It reminds me of that debacle with S.

Okay, this is great. Thanks! The Hachette Audiobook is broke out into the parts, but I think with your help i can stay relatively on track.
I remember that issue with S. The funny thing was that I actually thought their production was pretty darn clever, it's too bad they chose to pull it.

I think I'll make a post for each part, for discussion purposes.

Yeah they don’t make the best operating model eh?

Oh great!

P.S. Week 3 challenge is to fill out the doodle poll to participate in the online chat about the book, after it's over. The more the merrier! It's a pretty low-risk conversation, and you don't have to show your face. Here you go.
And the online chat will be Sunday, April 8, 12 pm est at this link. I'm sorry I couldn't find a time to accommodate everyone but I did go with the most that could be there.
So you have a week to finish the book if you haven't.
