All About YA discussion

Yo everyone! Every Day by David Levithan is a well-known YA book which I know a lot of us in this group have read. Here's the place for us to chat about it! It's also got a couple of prequel/sequels, including Someday, which comes out later this year, and may I say, looks wild! Oh, and there's a movie coming out based on it! I read this book for my young adult lit class this semester, and I have to say I was very disappointed in it. Which was a shame, because I had such high hopes for it going in. The concept of the story sounded interesting and different, but the characters were so shallow it drove me crazy. At one point I even wanted to throw my copy of the book across the room!
