When Letitia’s baby was described as having red hair, did you consider that Blackwell might not be the father?

Phrynne | 607 comments Oh yes, straight away but only because I thought the author must be mentioning it for a reason:)

Same here. It’s such a distinctive characteristic and there was no mention of Blackwell having red hair. That one description sent me in a whole new direction.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, it was a bit obvious.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I was suspicious that it wasn't Blackwell's child.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 180 comments Nope. I just went with it. I might have even skimmed over that part because it wasn't until Sarah and Frank were talking about Sarah finding the red headed man did the red hair sink into my brain.

I'm finding that I love these books but I'm not acting like myself and I'm not actively trying to figure out the whodunit part. I'm just enjoying the process of reading about Sarah and Frank's adventures. So, many of my answers for these discussion questions tend to be "Nope didn't suspect that." or "It surprised me so and so did it." LOL.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments LOL, same here, Christina. I just read and see how things unfold most of the time.

It’s a lovely way to experience a book. Wish I could turn that part of my brain off (sometimes I do) but it’s just natural for me to try to solve a problem.

Me too!
Although with these books, I often find myself so engrossed in the characters that I'm caught by surprise.
