Plot: Two kids named Kendra and Seth, go to their grandparents house in the middle of nowhere because their parents are going to a cruise. There is a lot of rules they follow and being a little kid that Seth is he runs off and breaks some rules. Once he comes back Kendra solves a mystery that her grandpa left and it was a note that said “drink the milk”. Once they drink it they see all around that the butterflies are actually fairies and that all around them things start to turn into creatures. Well moving forward grandpa gets kidnapped and Seth, Kendra gets powers from the fairies and gets their help as well and they defeat a demon but now Kendra doesn’t have to drink the milk no more to see the creatures.
Personal Experience: It was fun reading this because trying to be there and diving myself in the book made me feel like i was there. It’s something that any little boy would want, go to a place and see creatures from our imaginations, and having powers as well. There wasn’t that much adventure at first so it was kinda boring but then things actually started to get better once they got captured by the demon.
Recommended?: If you want a book where you try to set yourself as a little kid seeing creatures for the first time then I recommend. The grandpa was the funny one and there is some sort of comedy around. If you want a lot of action and serious moments then no i wouldn’t recommend.
