Some hobbies I have are knitting and jewelry making. Currently I'm trying to balance school work with writing work. How about you?

I enjoy writing, singing, yodeling, hiking, camping, etc...

I'm late in joining this conversation, but here are my contributions:

Favourite verse: Psalm 73:25-26 (NIV)
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.

This verse has helped me when feeling down/discouraged/jealous (the whole psalm applies then) or when I feel no-one cares.

Favourite Bible characters: There are many, but top of the list are Joseph and Daniel for their integrity and relationship with God.

Hobbies: Reading and writing, hiking, running. I'm into parkruns (5km) and recently completed my 50th one, which is the first milestone for those who care about such things (folks like me).

Well, I missed this earlier. I used to enjoy shooting and hunting (guns, bows) but unable to here in S. Korea. I occasionally get back into hobbies (lapidary, woodwork), my previous occupation (watchmaking, jewelry making),
and worship leading with 12 string guitar.

That is so cool! What's it like in S. Korea?

This is a very different culture, of course. Theirs is more community oriented — ours more individualistic. Unlike Germany, where we were before, there is no similarity in our languages. But we have made good friends in the five years we have been here and we both have meaningful ministry.
