IDK about 'best'--and don't know how much of your book is 'fantasy' vs. 'urban' ;-)--
But FWIW re: non-publisher sites, every so often, I check out http://fantasy-faction.com/
Good luck!

Karma, I'm curious what you mean about fantasy vs urban. Do you think I'm off on the genre description?

IDK b/c I haven't read your book--or even the blurb. :) It was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but also partly serious in that different people could use terms (especially the general ones) differently.
Frex, some people (2 of my friends) use 'fantasy' as *the* main genre, w/ any and all alternate reality fiction--e.g., paranormal, UF, PNR, etc.--being sub-genres. Still others (such as me) distinguish fantasy (high, epic or otherwise) from 'paranormal'. For latter, 'paranormal' is the umbrella genre, w/ UF, PNR, etc. being sub-genres.
And then, some are sticklers re: what is or is not UF whilst some other aren't.
Does that make sense?
ETA: Have you seen this discussion? www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1731527-...

I hadn't seen that discussion, but I've definitely read a few like it as I did some research. The series I'm starting takes place in a variety of settings, some books in the city while others small town, desert, etc., so I wanted to make sure I was in the right when I called it Urban Fantasy. Seems this is a tough genre to nail down, with not everyone agreeing on the requirements.
I did some serious googling which turned up a bunch of results, but obviously it's hard to tell what's popular and relevant to the readers that actually matter. Any suggestions you have, sites you go to for UF info, would be a big help. Thanks.
