What do you think is next for Mila and girls like her? Was it therapeutic for her to tell her story? Why was it impossible for her to tell it directly to Helen Glasser from the Department of Justice?

I think she just had a hard time with the details. She was ashamed of what they made her do. I was glad Glasser was so kind towards Mila.

I agree, Christina. Mila never seemed to adapt or accept what had happened to her and her friend, Anja. How does one get past this? Therapy will help but I think you’re forever scarred.

I can't imagine living through something like this. It would take someone with a strong character to go from a victim to a warrior. Mila was on her way with the way she helped Jane in the woods.

I think moments like that go a long way in helping to heal.
