The Empress discussion

I think that he cares for her for 2 reasons:
#1. She is small and human. He most likely cares for her the same way Nemesis did when she stopped herself from killing Nevari umteen times.
#2. They are most likely on the same side of the emperor; meaning, she is wanted and he is wanted, he wants the emperor dead, and she wants some of the grandolquy dead. (Not sure if I spelled that right)
