My Dad, my brother and my niece all have August Birthdays. They obviously share a last initial, but interestingly enough they all share a middle initial (though their middle names are different).
Read a book whose author First AND Last initials are any combination of: A E M P S (you can ignore middle initials, if used). You may repeat a single initial (e.g. Sam Smith).

b. Hippos are considered the second largest land animal on Earth.
Read a book that is second in a series. (list series)
c. Hippos can weight up to 3.5 tons.
Read a book with a 3 or 5 in its page count.
2. Anteaters
Complete one of the following tasks.
a. You can find Anteaters in Central and South America.
Read a book set in Central or South America. (list country)
b. Anteaters use their long and sticky tongues to catch prey (usually ants and termites).
Read a book with an author whose first name starts with a letter in Ants and last name starts with a letter in Termites.
c. Main predators are Jaguars and Cougars.
Read a book that starts with a J or C (excluded A, An, and The)

For my class this year, I'm trying to partner with Project Lit and We Need Diverse Books to add more books that reflect the makeup of my classroom.
1.Read a book in the Young Adult genre.
2. Read a book where the MC's race, religion, or ethnicity is different from yours.
