Trust me there's a big difference! my older sister had a guinea pig once and it was such a dirty little dude. he would poop ALL the time and pee all over and we'd have to clean his cage very often, they're also bigger than hamsters. hamsters are much easier to take care of. i had one like 2 years ago.
