Which one are you?

Honestly, let me (instead of voicing my frustrations about Twilight) be nitpicky. I am not Edward or Jacob. I am my own person. And for Bella, I don't think they were the only options.
However, to humor the question, pros and cons:
Edward
he is hot. he is smart (?) (actually, idk on that one, I don't think he'll ever go to college)
he is immortal, which means you'll grow old and end up being a 30 yr old dating a 17 yr old...that will give you funny looks,
UNLESS you get bitten by a vampire, but Edward seems determined to stop that from happening, as long as you're in dating age range, which Bella, *hint hint* is probably just a warning sign, BACK OFF, I'M NOT INTERESTED.
Going back to the immortal thing, he's really grumpy. He's gonna have mood swings ALL HIS LIFE. Are you sure you want to deal with that, or that HE WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT?
Maybe you want a more steady man like Jacob. If Edward is a wild pony, Jacob is a mule. Solid and dependable, strong, he can eat you up at any time in one little gulp.
Now, Bella cares A LOT about looks. In a normal love, it shouldn't matter how hot the guy is, you should just love HIM not his LOOKS. But Bella sits down on her first day in the cafeteria, picks the hottest male is the room, and says "I want to marry him", completely IGNORES her friends, (why are they friends with her again? or right, they want to be popular, or at least talk to Edward, so they're using her. Great friends.) and mopes over the guy she's never talked to! Maybe he's a drug addict. Maybe he's a terrorist. Maybe he's a nerd. A jock. No, he's not even normal. He just so happens to be a vampire.
Going back to Jacob, since Bella cares so much about looks, being a werewolf does not seem like a good option, because female werewolves are very ugly, and Jacob might lose his shallow interest very soon, then "Off with her head!". It's not that hard with werewolves we're talking about.
And for vampires, why would you want to live all eternity with a sister who hates you and wants to kill you, plus other angry vampires who have an army and want to kill you, and now have ALL ETERNITY, because you're a vampire. Plotting, scheming, slowly.
If you want my answer to be, Edward is hotter, then there's your answer. However, I think neither choice is good for Bella's chance of staying alive through college, and I don't know personally know her heart tells her to go to. But if it's both men, then neither one is right. :D
