Sabrina (forebodinq) | 23 comments I liked the premise and the story was super enjoyable, but America was very annoying :P

I liked America. I thought it was neat to see a female character in a dystopian book who wasn't exactly a bad ass like how most of them are. She was just a normal person who stayed normal.

I didn't like Aspen at all. I thought he was sexist, especially in the first book.

Irene (raenne) I really, really liked it! I wasn't expecting too, I thought it would be focusing too much on the romance parts, but to my surprise it didn't. I still don't know why I liked it this much, because when I'm thinking about it, the storyline is rather thin haha :D

(only read book #1)

I'm glad you liked it.

Everyone, please hide your spoilers in case we have others who want to comment on this thread who also haven't finished the trilogy.

Nikita I avoided this book because so many compared it to hunger games and the bachelor. But then someone recommended it to me, so I took a chance and I was surprised to how much I liked it.

I didn't mind America's personality or anything, I just thought that one particular decision shouldn't have been so hard for her, and that she shouldn't have kept changing her mind and complaining about it.

Lauren (Smolren) (tithenpen) I was really conflicted about these books. I sort of liked them but mostly for the rebels storyline which I feel like was really neglected towards the end.

Also, I found America and Aspen really annoying.

Nicola Dorrington (nsdorrington) | 42 comments I've read the first two but haven't gotten around to the 3rd yet.

Has anyone read it? Is it worth me finishing the series? (I have such bad luck with 3rd books in trilogies - I normally despise them!)

In my opinion, the third one is the best one. I liked each one more and more. I'm just hoping she answers some of her remaining questions from the third one in the next two books.

Nicola Dorrington (nsdorrington) | 42 comments Hmmm maybe I need to pick it up then...

If you hate it, you can totally blame me. lol

But I really liked it. She kept me on the edge of my seat as I was reading, especially in the second half.
