Charlene, it makes perfect sense. The author wrote this so well that it felt like part of the action. While I was extremely agitated as the attack unfolded, the tactical decisions helped ease it as i got that the team was in control. The minute-by-minute iteration of instructions added to my overall capture and enjoyment of the scene.
