50% (view spoiler)[So they are trying this hilarious double dating thing and it's so obvious that they fit so much better than anyone else they set each other up with! I Love the way Hazel has been written, she knows who she is, that she is not what people would call 'normal' but she just doesn't care. They way her father treated her mother, hasn't left her broken and sad like it does to so many other main female characters that we see in books like these. But she knows her self worth! She knows who she is,and she loves it, but she is guarded too, not in an overt way, but in a 'I know how I want to be treated and will not settle for less' way and I love that! (hide spoiler)]

75% (view spoiler)[This book is hillarious and heartfelt and beautiful at the same time how do Christina Lauren do it? I don't like Tyler, I wish he was gone! Also Josh? Seriously? You couldn't see that she was clearly asking you to say 'No', don't be with him, be with me! Men are such idiots sometimes I swear to god! (hide spoiler)]

100% (view spoiler)[ So that ending took me for a tailspin! I was so frickin worried for them! But then you see their family and it's so beautiful and the way her first tough pregnancy is mentioned and just feeeeeels! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I haven't realized that but Hazel is really an example of a great female character because she knows who she is and she loves herself in a realistic way: she knows her flaws and is opens about it but she also knows she is what she is and that she won't change for others.
I felt sad about her relationship with her father and how she hope it would improve in the future but they didn't have the chance when he died... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I'm going to start off by saying that I'm not a fan of Hazel. Josh isn't too bad though. Normally I don't mind opposites attracting but these two seem too different. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-6:
(view spoiler)[Hazel is a mess. She should never have alcohol. Also, she shouldn't be a teacher. She's too much. Josh is fine. He's mellow. I don't like his girlfriend, but I do like his sister. (hide spoiler)]

I'm up to Chapter 12.


(view spoiler)[I think that Hazel is very immature and that's why she's hard to like. It was funny how bad/funny it was when she met Josh's parents. Thankfully it worked out in the end. I'm not surprised that their many blind dates were bad. It's obvious that they want each other. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, that part was funny. There have been a few funny moments.

Chapters 7-12:
(view spoiler)[A lot of bad dates have led to Hazel and Josh get drunk and hooking up. I hope it doesn't get weird. Also, she should have picked the guinea pig not the fish. Guinea pigs can cuddle. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[More of the same. Bad dates with other people. Hooking up with each other. Also, Tyler, Hazel's ex, has asked her to get back together. It's a waste of time. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters19-Epilogue:
(view spoiler)[Happy ending. Hazel is pregnant, and Josh thought it was Emily. There was a bit of trouble with the pregnancy, bu everything was fine. They have three children by the end of the book. (hide spoiler)]

The email and Josh & Hazel's met after so long are so funny. Hazel's mouth and brain are definitely on war with each other.

Josh has been getting cheated by her girlfriend for so long and he has no clue. I mean he never saw any signs even though they were living apart but still.
They won a cruise.
The way Emily and Dave are trying to find date partners for Josh and Hazel makes me believe they are gonna be a lot of dates.

OMG! Josh fell down into a river. I didn't likes Dax behaviour on the date. They are a lot of horrible dates which unfortunately I am enjoying pretty well.

Haze's ex Tyler was the blind date set up by Josh. I feel bad for Haze. Tyler did really wrong with her in the past, it did impacted her.

(view spoiler)[ I have finished reading the book. In the end, the book was less funny. The ending was so common. Like in most of the romance books, the lead female ends up pregnant and they end up together after the hero confesses his eternal love. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10- (view spoiler)[ I'm enjoying this! I have laughed out loud and smiled throughout most of it. At first I thought Hazel was just a *bit* too much, but I'm getting used her character, and I actually like that she is who she is....no matter what. I like that she won't change just to please someone. I really like Josh! The double dates were pretty obvious that they wouldn't work out, and I especially loved the trivia one where they won the cruise! HA! (hide spoiler)]

I hate messy but Hazel's mess was so adorable.
It's Haze best quality that she knows who she is and accept it wholly.

Chapter 19- (view spoiler)[ I love the tension between Josh and Hazel even though they are are still trying to date Tyler and Sasha... just tell each other how you feel already... kinda dragging on a bit... (hide spoiler)]

Finished- (view spoiler)[ I wasn't expecting an ending like that!! Somewhere around the 75% mark, the feel of the book changed a bit for me. I still really enjoyed it, and I'm happy everything worked out, but the romance COMEDY part slowed down a bit with the comedy part! I would say overall, the beginning started out as a 5 star, middle was a 4 star, and the ending was somewhere around a 3.5-4 star for me. Really enjoy these author's books!! (hide spoiler)]

Ch 11 (view spoiler)[ The scene with Josh and Hazel doing cartwheels in the backyard was too cute. I love their dynamic and how Josh is the perfect balance to Hazel's personality. I'm genuinely so inspired by her dedication to living life to the fullest and doing crazy things just for a laugh that it makes me want to be more like her and do cartwheels in my backyard just for fun. I was not really interested in this book. But since it has a pink cover I had to read it for a challenge. But the first few chapters pleasantly surprised me. I laughed so much. I really like Hazel. She is not the over-the-top, clumsy girl we see usually in rom-coms. She is quirky and endearing.

I agree, the book is a bit of a surprise in relation to Hazel's character.
I haven't read a lot, just 20%, but I will read more today!!

I just read that part and I agree so much, like this might be the first book I read where there was no awkward angst (the disappearing act and ignoring each other as you said) after getting drunk. There is usually so much of that, that this was a pleasant surprise. (hide spoiler)]

Also, I have this feeling that Hazel might be pregnant?; she's feeling like a stomach bug, and not eating much, and other symptoms that I can't remember, and if you remember, they didn't use one.
