The Catholic Book Club discussion

Another very busy month with very close results, and in fact a tie for first between The Benedict Option: A Strategy for Christians in a Post-Christian Nation and Quetzalcoatl's Zahir. In accordance with our new procedure for ties we will read both books. The Randomizer chose The Benedict Option: A Strategy for Christians in a Post-Christian Nation as our BOTM for October 2018, making Quetzalcoatl's Zahir our BOTM for November 2018.

As several people noted, we had an excellent set of books to vote on this month and the result was that every book except one, The Restoration of Christian Culture, received votes, and that book was protected this month. So no additional books will be removed from the list.

Regarding "The Satin Slipper", it was noted at the time of nomination that the only available book in amazon was too expensive. But I see one used for $12.50,
