First, I love your name... so beautiful!
I have taken advantage of your offer of the short story "Beginnings" through your website. Thank you.
As luck would have it, I already own both DISOWNED and ABDUCTED. For the past several years, I review everything I read. The hard part is deciding what to read next. Sometimes I need a push in the right direction. Your post here is one of those pushes. Again, thank you.
I decided the other day not to reply to your request until I had read "Beginnings." I've read it, and I am most impressed with the story and your writing.
I've posted my review to:

Thank you so much for your kind words and amazing reviews on all the platforms. That is truly appreciated.
I wish I'd known earlier as I would have happily shared the e-ebooks with you. I'm always looking for honest reviews as it will improve my writing and help me get better stories out there, especially stories about girls and women around the world and in our own backyard.
You're correct. As you mention in the review, it's time for women to speak up and stand for integrity and justice. I remain optimistic and believe this is the "velvet revolution" that will create a kinder, more peaceful and healthier planet we can all be proud of.
Thanks kindly again for picking up my books and for the lovely review. That means so much to me and made my week!
Take lots of care.

I am so looking forward to reading DISOWNED and ABDUCTED. I have always believed that writers of fiction can do more to promote needed change and even more needed perspective on the issues to a greater audience than historians or political hacks.
On the other side, I just finished reading an ARC of GOOD AND MAD, by Rebecca Traister. It takes a deep dive into the value of women's anger in fomenting change. I am on a tear to promote this book because (1) I really learned a lot about the history of the women's movement and its impact on every aspect of social change, and (2) it stimulates not only the anger but the will to use that anger for the good of all.
The book comes out on October 2nd.
Thanks again for providing the push to read your work!
Love,
Mad
I sign my email "Love," because Mad is my name, not my state of mind.

Thanks for the book suggestion. I'll certainly check out Good and Mad. Some quarters continue to prescribe the turn-the-other-cheek philosophy and say that women must not expect too much progress too fast (egad), but I squarely land in the stand-up,-speak-up-and-DO-something-for-goodness-sake corner. So am really interested in how to turn anger about injustice into a productive tool.
Thanks & cheers,
Tikiri
The Red Heeled Rebels thrillers are set around the world and has a prequel story, followed by three novels. The first book was shortlisted for the Silver Falchion award this year and am now looking for reviews as it will help me enter promos.
While I don't say it in the books, I wrote these stories to subtly showcase how girls and women are treated around the world. Having grown up in and lived on four continents, I've seen the dark underbelly of some societies and cultures which made me want to give voice to the voiceless.
If you’d like to leave an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads or Bookbub I can send the e-books to you via BookFunnel. Here's the prequel for free for a taste: BookHip.com/JCBQMX
Thanks so much & cheers,
Tikiri
