I binged this in one sitting yesterday, and I'm glad I did. It's a cute story about a robot that lives with wild animals on an island and gradually learns to live in harmony with them.
The best thing about this story is that it does not shy away from the harshness of nature. Animals fight and defecate and eat each other and sometimes things are sad or gruesome. I think that's important in children's literature, kid's aren't dumb and they shouldn't spoken to like they are.
I also laughed out loud more than once and read a few funny passages to my husband that made him chuckle, which is always a winner in my book.
