Anne | 5 comments Hii guys, i’ve read about this book somewhere in facebook about a year ago, the protagonist was a writer searching for the source of evil (or writing about something like that), i think he was a bit skeptic and i remember a part of the book where he found an old man in an old house (maybe something to do with a red rooom, cant say if thats correct) that was possessed or was the devil itself, something like that.
The book is supposed to be really creepy and if i recall stephen king had something to say about it.
Sorry to be so vague, but thats really all i can remember, if anybody has read something remotly similar let me know!
Thanks a lot :)

I removed the ALL CAPS from the topic header. (It looks like shouting.)

Alexis (Nidhogg) | 43 comments It's not what I would consider to be "creepy," but this is the story I was thinking of. It doesn't really answer well to your recollection though, sorry.

No. 252 Rue M. Le Prince by Ralph Adams Cram.

King cited H.P. Lovecraft as a huge source of inspiration and it could be one of his many stories, but those details you gave aren't immediately identifying one for me. The writer/reporter skeptic makes me think of The Haunter of the Dark, but that definitely doesn't fit.
