I have fallen in love with this depressing, sappy poetry book. I've read other poetry books but none have related to me so personally. This book has ten chapters of poems, separated by illustrations of jellyfish, but each chapter has a different topic that could help you with your current struggle. For example chapter seven is called "If You Need Encouragement." There were a lot of poems in here that rang true to me and that I touched deeply with. This book is just filled with words that are so beautiful and meaningful. I would read this book again, but I already have a list of people who want to borrow it from me.
I believe this book was well written and thought out. But I did stumble upon some poems that received a good eye roll. Some poems in here were so cheesy that I thought I was reading a soap opera. Nevertheless this book has made me feel so much better about myself mentally, physically, and emotionally.
This is definitely considered a quick read. I would recommend this book to you if you needed a mental break, a new type of book, or if you needed to past the time. Overall, it's a very pleasant book and I really enjoyed the author's writing style. This book is filled with raw emotions and I would recommend anyone and everyone to read it.
