When Claire and Gage had a spontaneous interlude, he made adjustments after he learned she was no longer on birth control. If he had a vasectomy, why would that matter?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments Maybe he never went for his recheck?? It appeared he really didn't want more kids. This was one of my main problems with Gage, because Claire wanted her own children.

Laura There was a point made that vasectomies aren't 100 percent so I was thinking she would end up pregnant at the end. I agree with you Anita he wasn't sympathetic about this, but then did they ever really talk about it?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments No, I don't recall them ever having a conversation about it. One of my best friends got pregnant after her husband's vasectomy. He didn't go back for his recheck after the procedure. Timmy is 22 and absolutely a gift from God.

I just thought it weird that they offered no explanation for his concern about her birth control. Claire never expressed a strong desire for children, didn’t even raise a concern when they decided to get back together.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 101 comments It seemed that in the beginning of the book, one of her problems with Gage is that she wouldn't be able to have children if she stayed with him. Then, all of a sudden, that didn't seem to be a problem.

I thought maybe he didn't go back for his recheck after procedure. My hubby never went back either...lol.

Yeah, she talked about it...to herself...like it wasn’t a major issue. More like now she could pursue someone who she could have children with.
