Hi Bev!!! Well, I am wondering why I can't add a new topic here so I can post my books for this part of my climb. I clicked on the new topic link and typed everything in and I had to pick a book that it was about and when I tried to post I got an error message saying I had to verify my email address, but it gave no where to verify it. Is this something new? I've never had to tag a book or verify email.

I don't know. It seems like someone else had a similar problem at some point--though I can't remember if it was this year. And my middle-aged memory isn't coming up with what the solution was. Let me hunt and see what I can find out.

Hi, just wanted to pop in here and say that I got some clarification in case anyone else runs into the same problem. If you've been on GR for a long time, it's possible you never verified your email with them. In order to do so, you need to go to your settings tab and then click the tiny blue link that says verify my email. It took my sister helping me, but we got it sorted.

Thank you for that info!!! I was able to go into the app and create my new topic thread but couldn't do it from the website. I have been a member here for a very long time and the email I use for GR is one I literally NEVER use/check lol Thank goodness I had the password for it written down in my password address book because apparently I have never verified my email with GR. I will try on my next mountain to create my thread from the website and see what happens. Thanks again, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!

You're welcome! Glad you got fixed. I can't take all the credit though--since Jessica hunted the answer down last year on Mount TBR.
