Who do you think hired those men to kill Sebastian?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments At this point, I will say that I will wait until Jonetta has read the book before I begin reading it. I just couldn't wait with Sebastian's book in my possession, and now my memory sieve is playing up. Doggone.

This refers to the scuffle Sebastian got into with the man that was following him whose accomplice came into the fray and went to stab him. Sebastian pivoted and put the guy (later identified as Jack) in front of him and he was killed.

Sebastian never figured out who set those men upon him. I think they were known to be involved with smuggling so maybe Rothschild hired them.

FYI, below the character list, I summarize all the spoiler stuff from the book to help jog memories (mine included for when the next book is released).

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Ah, thanks for that. I'll try to check it next time: after I read, and before we discuss. It should help jog some memories.

Nah, just ask Charlene. It’s not a problem.

Joanna | 139 comments Not really sure. Never gave it much thought.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Like Charlene, it's been a while since I read the book. I can't remember who I suspected at the time.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 242 comments Initially I thought it was Jarvis, but then I changed my mind. I'm not sure if it is Jarvis or Rothschild. I'm thinking Rothschild. As much as Jarvis dislikes Sebastian, I don't think he will kill him right now. He loves Hero too much to hurt her. That might be wishful thinking on my part.
