Lorelei of the Red Mist
Lorelei of the Red Mist by Ray Bradbury and Leigh Brackett
From my TBR 2012
A classic. I was disappointed. At least it was a short read!

The Trials of Apollo, Book 1: The Hidden Oracle
The Trials of Apollo book 1. The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

A great read. Riordan never disappoints.

The Time Traveler's Apprentice
The Time Traveler’s Apprentice by Kelly Grant
From my 2012 TBR. A fun read. And it turns out it is a series, so eventually I will get the next one to read.

Silenced by the Yams
From my 2012 TBR.
It was only OK. Wish I had known the Epilogue ends with a cliff hanger, as I doubt I will read the next one.

It's Not My Mountain Anymore
It’s Not My Mountain Anymore

The Brutal Telling

I3.

Organized Grime
Organized Grime
From my 2013 TBR
Also read in this series:

Suspicious Minds
Suspicious Minds by Christy Barritt but it was purchased this year so it does not count for this challenge.
I am currently re-reading the Harry Potter series, as one of the students that I work with is reading them. So between that, being very busy with work and very busy with family matters, I am falling behind in this challenge. Plus I am choosing ones I think I will like, so I am not abandoning them the way I did last year.

The Parrot Talks In Chocolate
The Parrot Talks in Chocolate.
From my 2012 TBR
Couldn’t get into it. Abandoned.

The Wizard of Time
The Wizard of Time, book 1
From my 2012 TBR. I got almost half way through it before abandoning it. An interesting premise but it moved way too slowly. And I felt like I didn’t really get to know the characters.

Time and Time Again
Time and Time Again
From my 2013 TBR. I enjoyed this quick read, it pulled me into the story immediately.

The Last Englishman
From my 2016 TBR. I enjoyed this book and would like to read about more of his adventures.

Day of the Dead: A Navajo Nation Mystery
From my 2018 TBR. Another great book from the Navajo Nation Mystery series (book 8).

Joy in the Morning
Glad this was a freebie. When I got it I assumed it was the one I read in high school. What a surprise when I started reading it! I won’t bother to read it ever again. At least it is off my TBR (from 2013).

Hiking Through: Finding Peace and Freedom on the Appalachian Trail
One of several books I have read about through hiking; thus one really held my interest and was well written. It provided food for thought.
From my 2012 TBR

A Plain Death
An enjoyable, easy read. I would like to read more in the series. From my 2012 TBR.

The Utterly Uninteresting and Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant
I really enjoyed listening to this. I put the next one in the series on my wishlist. From my 2018 TBR.

When Mockingbirds Sing
An unusual book. It seemed like a horror story with a twist. I enjoyed it.
From my 2015 TBR

[[bookcover:The Illustrated Man|24830]
The Illustrated Man
A very enjoyable collection of stories. From my 2013 TBR.

An Irish Country Doctor
. A great story, and the narrator was great. I will definitely get more in the series, either as a kindle or an Audible version.
From my 2015 Audible TBR

A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the Streets
A Street Cat Named Bob.
I enjoyed it. A bit repetitive, where one thought is said 2 or 3 different ways. But it held my interest.
From my 2014 TBR.

The Year of Living Danishly: My Twelve Months Unearthing the Secrets of the World's Happiest Country
The Year of Living Danishly.
A fun listen. From my 2018 Audible TBR

These Haunts are Made for Walking
A fun, somewhat spooky read just right for the Halloween season.
From my 2017 TBR.

The Christmas Eve Kiss
The Christmas Eve Kiss.
An enjoyable holiday read. From my 2017 TBR.
38.

The Mistletoe Promise
The Mistletoe Promise.
Another enjoyable holiday read from my 2018 TBR.

Nutcracker and Mouse King and The Tale of the Nutcracker
Nutcracker and Mouse King.
I didn’t care for it. From my 2017 TBR.
In 2018 I committed to at least 12 books being ones I acquired in 2011. So this year at least 15 of my books for this challenge will be ones purchased in 2012 or 2011.
