She was my guess from the last book discussion and I never let her go. The only other person would have been Alex and that didn’t make sense.
Ruth knew how formidable her boss and his team were and should have immediately neutralized that threat. I understand her fear but she also should have known they’d kill her family anyway. I’m not sympathetic as she was willing to let others die with her help.

Laura, I’d forgotten about that and it’s an important point. What the hell was that all about? Was she trying to appease her own guilt? That makes what she did more insidious.
