Christopher's a goody-good two shoes, as his peers call him. He likes to see justice done, but he's always looking from other people's perspectives, including pirates. Therefore, many believe that his judgement is not clear. However, he does like exploring and finding treasure, but he decided to join the navy because it seems "more justice-like". He was once asked to join a pirate crew but had to refuse, due to some circumstances at the time. He's a very honest and jovial type of guy, but he's a prude when it comes to romance. Sometimes, he can get embarrassed easily, but once he has his mind set on something, he won't change it.

His father, Sir Aleks Holmes, married his mother, 彭花月, while he was in China working as a doctor during the Opium Wars. However, Christopher's mother died during childbirth on the boat in Shanghai's port, and so did his twin brother - or so they said. Because Sir Aleks was a busy man, he did not have time to raise his son but left him in London under the care of a nanny from India named Nakita.

Christopher was raised by the best tutors his father could find him, but when he was sixteen, he experienced a person receiving injustice for a crime he did not commit. Christopher swore to purge the way the British dealt with wrongdoings and joined the Navy in order to work his way up the ranks. He was taken lightly at first for being half British half Chinese, but he proved his valor through many battles and court cases.

However, many don't know his true intentions...
