B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) | 8315 comments From Friday August 29th at 12.01am (in your local time zone), you start keeping track of how many pages you read until Sunday August 31st at 11.59pm. In this thread you will post your progress, telling everyone what you're reading and how many pages. Then all readers' totals will be tallied on the Monday to reach the goal of 10,000 pages.

This is a relaxed read-a-thon; it doesn't matter if you read 20 pages or 100, it also doesn't matter if we reach our goal, it's just having fun doing what you would normally be doing anyway:)

Tweedledum (tweedledum) | 2166 comments Good morning all read-a-thoners. I'm currently alternating between Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All: A New Zealand Story and The Birth of Shylock and the Death of Zero Mostel both of which I find quite intense and have to read in small bytes. So far have read

30 pages of The Birth of Shylock and the Death of Zero Mostel (now on page 96 )
And
40 pages of Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All: A New
Zealand Story
( now on page 126)

Tweedledum (tweedledum) | 2166 comments Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All: A New Zealand Story
170 pages in total.... Just finished it. Great read also counted it for my around the world challenge....

Tents and Tent Stability: A Month-Long Camping Adventure In Germany - In a Rather Dodgy Tent!
16 pages. Bogged down in Hamburg at the moment in the rain. Sounds rather boring ...in fact Chris Lown seems to be contemplating giving up his mission (to camp in every German state ) but as there are rather a lot of pages still to go I'm guessing he's about to change his mind.
