The Washington headquarters for Han technology

This was the first time that Ji-Hye was going to become an official regional manager for Han Tech. Han Tech was one of the most popular peices of technology, right next to Apple of course. Her grandparents owned twenty four percent, her parents sixty two, a couple of share holders five, and now Ji-Hye officially owned six percent. That may not seem like a lot, but seeing as Han Tech supplied some tech for companies all over the world, it wasn’t shabby. Not at all. Her parents were proud of her for getting this far, and so they drove her to the now, nearest Han Tech building. The one she had helped designed. “Oh honey bunny! I’m so proud of you! This is your first store! Now if anyone doesn’t listen to you, what do we do?” Rolling her eyes Ji-Hye looked out the window. “Hex them or fire them, or both.” “Good job.” It felt as if this was her first day at kindergarten.

Getting out of the car, Ji-Hye smoothed our her dress, and made sure her shoes weren’t scuffed before finger combing through her firey red hair and entering the store. Her mother who had been gushing so proudly before now was stone cold, and her eyes bore no love. A couple of people were looking around the store, and a few employees were already assisting them, but there was one girl who was just standing there. It was as if nobody saw her. Walking towards her with purpose Han Ji-Hye began to feel slightly uneasy. Which was strange because that never happened. “Hello, I am Han Ji-Hye the regional manager of this store may I help you?”

Han Ji-Hye would have been glad to let her go, if her mother wasn’t watching at this exact moment, her eyes pinned to her as if she were a cat watching a mouse, plus this girl was interesting. Or at least that’s what she told herself so she didn’t feel completely intimidated. Narrowing her eyes, she flipped her perfectly pulled and slicked back ponytail before placing a gentle hand on Andi’s shoulder. “Haven’t I seen you around before? Like in school? I don’t go often because of work, but I’m pretty sure we share an algebra class.” She tilted her head before gently waving a couple fingers as if to tell her a secret.

Looking around and greeting the customers, she quickly turned back to Andi. “Listen very carefully. There is a spell out on this place. You cannot actually leave until you buy something. We are very special but I’m sure you knew that didn’t you?” Ji-Hye looked intimidating, the only thing stopping her from a full scowl was her pearly whites shining down on her. “The cheapest thing in this store is a small as card labeled ‘Han-Gh’.” Then rising from her quiet voice she spoke loudly and clapped her hands. “Oh wow! What a lucky customer you just said our prize word of the day, ‘Fortuna’ Hahahaha!” The crowd laughed and clapped before she turned back. “My mother will be watching us closely. You don’t have much reason to trust me, but honestly I get the feeling that you could run if you wanted to.” Han Ji-Hye looked strange but she knew that if she didn’t do anything this girl would look even more suspicious, and her mother hated suspicious.
