On Kacey's blog, Tales of a Bibliophile, she posted her five reading resolutions for 2019.
I like every one of her goals. I have slightly changed the focus of her resolutions to better suit us here on Public Domain Readers.

For this challenge, you decide how many books for each of Kacey's resolutions you want to read. The numbers do not have to be the same. You can read 10 of #1, 12 of #2, 5 of #3, and so on. It's your decision, but you must read at least 1 book for each resolution.

Duration: Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2019
Don't forget to rate and date your book.
No page limits.

Kacey's resolution - 1. Read more of my own books
Your resolution - read books that you own or can borrow

Kacey's resolution - 2. Do a clean out
Your resolution - read books from your TBR list

Kacey's resolution - 3. Read more non-fiction
Your resolution - read non-fiction books (obviously :)

Kacey's resolution - 4. Re-read Harry Potter
Your resolution - read books you have read before

Kacey's resolution - 5. Finally get to some popular series
Your resolution - read books that are part of a series

That's okay! Actually, I wanted to add more. But I should finish those first before adding more. lol

JenniferFour | 61 comments OK, I'll play. Maybe writing this down will focus me :)

Read books that you own or can borrow

Find that stack of PD books I bought a few years ago and read at least one of them.

2. Read books on your TBR list

Hmm… I don’t really have a TBR list but I have never read Poe’s The Fall of the House Usher and have meant to for a while so that is now the one entry on my TBR list.

3. Read non-fiction

something about the suffragettes or the women’s equality

4. Re-read

Janice Meredith

5. Part of a series

I’ve never read the Lupin series so will shamelessly steal that from Shaun: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Lanelle | 462 comments Well, the first 1/3 of 2019 is over. How is everyone doing on their 'Reading Resolution'?

message 10: by JenniferFour (new)

JenniferFour | 61 comments Horribly! I have been reading/listening to PD books but nothing that fits into what my goals were :)

I woud say neutral. I've been reading lots of PD books but not the books that I set to read for this challenge.

message 12: by Alex (new)

Alex Holmwood | 18 comments Not terribly. Most have been good reads with only one I could not get through.

Lanelle | 462 comments There's a little over two weeks left for this challenge. How is everyone doing?

I've read 11 out of 32 books. So, not well. What about you?

message 15: by JenniferFour (new)

JenniferFour | 61 comments I am not doing well for my list! I haven't done any but I did find my copy of Janice Meredith the other day and will start re-reading that soon.

I've 6 books to go to reach my goal. I'm not sure if I'll make it.
