Michelle | 40 comments In this discussion, we'll do reading sprints of 30-60 mins.

If you want to start a reading sprint please use this format:

:(time you want to star) for (how long the sprint will be)

Example:
:30 for 45
This would mean that everyone who wants to sprint will start at the 30 mins of the hour and read for 45 mins, at :15 of the next hour you can come back and update how much you've read.

Feel free to add "challenges" to your sprint!
Example:
:30 for 45 -Find a colour in your book
After the sprint it over, you can come back and update the challenge!

message 27: by Taya (new)

Taya Fosmire (bibliotaya) | 2383 comments I’ve heard war and peace is such an overwhelming book to read. How are you getting along with it?

message 28: by Jess (new)

Jess Penhallow | 709 comments My boyfriend will be home soon so I'm heading off

message 29: by Jess (new)

Jess Penhallow | 709 comments I'm finding it fine but I'm breaking it up with other books. There are 17 'books' each around 50-100 pages so I'm reading one of these in between each other book I finish.

It's going to take me ages to finish but I would definitely get overwhelmed trying to read it in one go. Also there's about 5 kindle pages to each book page so it feels like very slow progress.

The story itself is not overwhelming at all. It's great. It has action, romance, family drama, politics everything.
