How was your reading this year?

I was particularly happy that Mage Fall and Last Dragon Standing came out and rounded out the year.

Sheryl | 100 comments Very disorganized year for me. Spent too much time reading articles and partial Google books and bits of this or that for research purposes, rather than sitting down and reading actual books cover to cover.

On the s-f front, I was keenly disappointed in the one Clifford D. Simak I got to this year, which was an unpleasant first. OTOH, got reacquainted with Lee Killogh, who I still enjoy, and so far Gormenghast has exceeded expectations, although I doubt it'll be a big favorite in the end. Prose style is stunner, though.

Clyde (wishamc) I was sort of all over the place in 2018. Read some old favorites again (Company Commander: The Classic Infantry Memoir of World War II, Dragonflight, and several Honor Harrington books.) Michael Mammay's Planetside was a good find (a writer to watch) and the rebirth of the Dread Empire's Fall series was very welcome.
There were some turkeys, but why talk about them. ;-)
This year I plan to include more crime-fiction, historical-fiction, and non-fiction.
