Over the past couple of months I was sitting with my mom and husband and saw the movie previews for Mortal Engines and thought it sounded like such a cool story... I immediately checked and saw that it was book.

It was such a fun and easy read! Action from the very first page. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably pick of the rest of the series at some point. It has a couple of lessons in it's pages as it follows several teenagers through the story of London in the future.

This sounds interesting. What did London look like in the future? Good review.

annapi | 5504 comments I like a well-done dystopian future. I will have to look into this!

Charlotte | 1701 comments I think it is a middle school/YA book, so it is a very fast read and pretty light.

London is mobile, as most towns and cities are. London is on wheels or tracks and has 6 tiers. The towns and cities eat each other.

Jess Penhallow | 53 comments I really enjoyed the movie. I was sad to hear that it has made a loss as it was nice to see something a bit more original amongst all the remakes, reboots and sequels.
