Let Us Know New Release Discoveries - II

Me, too. I saw on her website a few weeks back that audios were planned, and then found these at Tantor when I was browsing their new release lists.

Taming a Wild Scot: Claimed by the Highlander

AND
When a Laird Takes a Lady: Claimed by the Highlander

The 3rd book is scheduled to be released Dec. 2, 2014 - I really hope it's also narrated by Ms Potter!

Sadly, I doubt even the extremely talented Ms Potter will be able to make silk purses out of sow's ears :(
I gave the second book 2 stars, and I was being generous.

I couldn't find the part you referenced to about the purse but then I wasn't listening for the purpose of reviewing the book - which a good thing since I'm not great at writing reviews lol
I often find books where parts seem to be a bit far fetched. But, I'm pretty easy to please in that I read and listen to historical romance more for entertainment and less for the historical accuracy. I really think Kirsten Potter did a great job and I loved both the story lines by Rowan Keats.

I'm looking forward to this one too!

Oh, jeepers- I feel the same way. It's that weird breathing thing she does.

Why do publishers switch narrators during series?
Also - not an Eyre fan, so this is another one I'll be sticking to in print.

Great! I've been checking every day for the last six weeks :P

His at Night lists KATE READING. Much better :)

It's now available for pre-order at Audible.

Thanks for the heads up!

I did the happy dance when I read that :) No narrator mentioned though.

I am asking her if she knows who will be narrating and will post here what I find out.

Good to know! I purchased her other self published audiobooks, and love her usual narrator. Whoever its is, I trust her taste.

James Langton is great! Love his narration of the Charles Finch mysteries.

*nods* He's a favourite of mine, too. And GB really rates him, so fingers crossed.

I got a response back and James Langton will be narrating.

Well, there isn't much of this year left! But fingers crossed for something new soon.

When I listen to her I think she sounds very old. However, I do not know how well she delivers emotions or intonations in her audiobooks. Any comments. Thanks

Hope that helps!

Terrific - I just hope it's available outside the US as well. Also - I hope the stated running time of 3 hours is a typo!

Thanks Caz. This never appeared in the 'coming soon' list.

No, it didn't. But it's an ACX/self-pubbed title, I think, and they often don't show up until they are actually released.

It's not coming up on Audible for me.

This is weird. It's in my library but won't download. I've emailed Audible (UK) to see what the problem is.

The latest post on the original thread was from Caz:
Anna Lee Huber's three Lady Darby books, The Anatomist's Wife, Mortal Arts and A Grave Matter are due for release in Sept and Oct. The narrator is Heather Wilds.
