Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) | 718 comments Nominating Life As We Knew It

Science Fiction/Dystopian novel - a meteor knocks the moon closer to earth... Told in journal entries, this is the heart-pounding story of Miranda’s struggle to hold on to the most important resource of all--hope--in an increasingly desperate and unfamiliar world.

I think you might get Persuasion free too as part of a complete collection. :)

Jazzy Lemon (jazzylemon) | 494 comments Up the Down Staircase - Bel Kaufman

I love this book, and read my first copy til it was battered and worn. A story of a young teacher's first year by the marvellous Bel Kaufman, granddaughter of Sholom Rabinowitz, otherwise known as the irrepressible Sholom Aleichem

I have this giant book with Austen's novels anyway and this book has also been translated and in short, very easily accessible 😊

Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) | 718 comments I second Ella, Minnow, Pea and also Dracula.

We don't have a clear winner, so I'll set up a poll with the four books that have 2 nominations.
