Hey, Otter, I can’t find a proper picture for my character, therefore, I planned on drawing it myself. It’ll take me a while, but can I submit character application before then?

I personally love making art for my characters, especially for roleplays. I suppose it allows me to think more extensively about the character, such as personality quirks and possible plot-related futures. Thus, I roleplay as that character better, at least I feel like I do.

@Lily Since the roleplay is so young, yes it is! In the future, however, it may be more difficult when we are deeper in the plot.

Hey Otter, I don’t know if this a forbidden topic, but I was wondering, animals go into heat right? Does this apply to any of the characters in instinct?

There is, actually! As dire wolves and saber tooth cats are both members of species who have estrous cycles, what is known as "Hunting Season" in the roleplay is usually around the time that females will go into heat.
I will likely go more in depth with the seasons, being as they can become quite an influence in roleplay plots.
INSTINCT will likely have a longer roleplay year than most, being as we all need enough time to be as advanced and realistic as possible. I believe I'm going to do a "5 Months = 1 Year", but I'm honestly unsure if that's to long or to short.

I feel like this would get slapped down immediately, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

Acknowledging the feud between sabers and wolves, and unless I read this wrong one wolf pack thinks peace is possible and the saber don't seem to have such a pride, what would be the odds of a blackguard saber and a lone wolf hanging out on not exactly friendly terms but with a mutual respect for each other?

Well actually, further on in the plot, the communing and mutual respect between the populations of dire wolves and the populations of saber tooth cats is actually something that is planned to occur!

So it would not be too extreme or far off that a blackguard saber and a lone wolf had gained a more positive relationship between one another. I would imagine they wouldn't be too familiar or related to the more local groups, however, as the main cause for their feud has only happened in the past 4 - 5 years.

Huh, I was thinking somewhere along those lines, but like a guy and a guy, they hate each other at first, but end up with a healthy respect for each other after some kind of dramatic event.

Both can lead to interesting plot developments.

Can my saber (tenebris) and conbon's saber (eotan) form a forbidden love? Tenebris is in ky'chet net, and for an is in Conet ha.
