Andrew Dabrowski (unhandyandy) | 1 comments Something odd happens in the Reichenbach Falls chapter. Watson leaves Holmes because he left his watch behind, but we find out later that the watch was always exactly where it is supposed be. He produces a note about a sick English woman although the meeting of the lad bearing the note is not narrated. When Holmes later asks "What have done with Watson?", I'm thinking the same thing.

Is it possible that Moriarty did replace Watson, and succeeded in finishing off Holmes? That might be a better ending.

J. Rubino (jrubino) | 307 comments There is a podcast called "Trifles" that drops once a week, the episodes are about 20 minutes, the two hosts discuss a Holmes-related topic. The hosts do a longer podcast, interviews, commentary and so on, called "I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere".
Anyway, they did an episode "Episode # 410 called "John Watson: Unreliable Narrator." Here's a link.
